A Journey We’re Excited to Share With You
Experience Alaska in a way that feels wild, breathtaking, and wonderfully easy. Our journey begins with three memorable nights on land before we board a 7‑night cruise through glacier country. It’s a beautiful blend of wilderness, comfort, and shared adventure - and as your hosts, we’ll keep everything coordinated and organized so we can all explore Alaska together without any stress.
This journey brings together the parts of Alaska that stay with you - the wide‑open spaces, the quiet moments, the feeling of being somewhere truly extraordinary. We’ll ease into things with an overnight in Fairbanks and the included Sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery, a gentle way to settle in before the adventure unfolds.
From there, we head to Denali for two nights at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, where Alaska starts to feel personal - fresh air, stillness, and time to explore the park your own way or simply take in the mountain views. After Denali, we board the Princess Rail and travel through miles of untouched wilderness toward the coast, where our 7‑night cruise begins and the scenery opens up even more.
A quick look at the key details so you can get a feel for the flow and what’s included.
Day 1 – Fairbanks
Arrive in Fairbanks and settle into the hotel for a one‑night stay. It’s an easy, flexible day to explore a bit, grab dinner, or simply unwind after traveling.
Day 2 – Fairbanks to Denali
Start the morning with the included Sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery, a relaxed introduction to Alaska’s interior. After the cruise, we’ll head to Denali and check in at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge for two nights. The rest of the day is yours to explore or enjoy the mountain views.
Day 3 – Denali
Begin with a guided tour into Denali National Park—great for wildlife spotting and big Alaska scenery. The afternoon is free for exploring, relaxing, or optional excursions like rafting or flightseeing.
Day 4 – Denali to Whittier (Princess Rail)
Board the Princess Rail for one of the most scenic rides of the trip, traveling through untouched wilderness toward the coast. By evening, we’ll arrive in Whittier and board the ship.
Day 5–11 – 7‑Night Cruise
Enjoy glacier days at Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay National Park, plus port visits to Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan. The cruise wraps with scenic sailing through the Inside Passage before arriving in Vancouver, where the journey comes to a beautiful close.
Coral Princess is one of Princess’s most beloved ships for Alaska, designed with plenty of places to take in the scenery. Custom built to navigate the historic Panama Canal, she blends thoughtful engineering with an intimate, easygoing feel — and with more than 700 balcony rooms, there are endless opportunities to take in glacier views, mountain backdrops, and those quiet moments at sea.
Her smaller size (around 2,000 guests) is a real advantage in Alaska. It means less crowding on viewing decks, easier movement around the ship, and a more relaxed atmosphere on glacier days when everyone wants a great vantage point. The ship feels spacious without ever being overwhelming.
Originally launched in 2003 and refurbished in 2019, Coral Princess offers refreshed lounges, cozy indoor spaces with big windows, and a mix of casual and sit‑down dining. It’s a comfortable, welcoming home base as we sail through glacier country.
Our group has access to the most popular stateroom categories, including Oceanview, Balcony, and Mini‑Suite options. These cover a wide range of preferences and budgets, and they’re the most commonly selected cabins for Alaska cruisetours.
If you’re looking for something larger or more premium, such as full Suites or specialty categories, those may also be available upon request. Availability can vary, but I’m happy to check options and pricing for you.
This trip is designed to feel effortless from the moment you land in Fairbanks to the moment you step off the ship in Vancouver. All the big pieces are already handled — you just show up and enjoy Alaska.
Planned itinerary — ports and glacier days may adjust based on weather and conditions
These items aren’t part of the package, but you’ll have plenty of flexibility to choose what fits your travel style.
Below are our exclusive group rates for the August 29 – September 5, 2027 Princess Alaska Cruisetour. Prices are per person, based on double occupancy, and already include taxes, port fees, and standard cruise charges - so you’re seeing the full total upfront.
These group rates are usually the highest your fare will be. When you book, I compare our group rate with the current Princess price. If Princess is offering a lower fare - now or later - you’ll receive the lower price while keeping your cabin and group perks.
